The directions to this app are great. The app is easy to follow, because it uses clear instructions, arrows to click on, and large easy to see words.

The first thing that you see when the app is opened is this:
LS 1
This is a good page that sets up what the app is used for, which is videos of slides that show different life skills.

The next page is the main menu:
LS 2 Better
This is where the child can pick which situation they want to see. This is easy to follow because it shows pictures and says the place below the picture. The child can touch the picture and it will explain how to go to that place appropriately.

Lets say the child wants to learn what to expect when going to the hairdresser. They would click on that picture and it would go to this slide:
LS 3
The slide has a picture of a son and his mother going to a hairdresser. A sentence describing the picture is clearly written below. The sentence is also read aloud when the app is playing. After the child understand the first slide they can touch the arrow key at the bottom. Then the next picture will tell you the next step.

This is a slide a few steps ahead of the last slide:
LS 4
In this slide you can see that there is a back arrow. This shows that if the child wants to go back to the slide before they can. The child can move at his or her own pace and even go back. Also in the upper left corner there is a home, if that is touched the screen goes back to the main menu screen. They can then pick a different place.

This app shows how to handle different situations however the child does not practice these situations with the app. It is not a game or does not ask them how to deal with a situation. Instead it shows them what to do. How the app is set up there is no feedback or a way to evaluate how the child actually handles the situation.
